- The most prestigious: The Gouveneur golf course à Monthieux.
The Domaine du Gouverneur includes a restaurant, a 4* hotel and a golf course. With two 18 hole courses (Montaplan and Le Breuil) and a 9 hole practice course. Presented as a “nature’s paradise”, you are promised an “unforgettable stay” at the heart of the largest golf course in the area.
- The friendliest: the Clou golf course at Villars-les-Dombes
An 18 hole course, a “large variety of the game” around a 12hectare lake and an particularly welcoming atmosphere. This is a golf course which immediately informs you “if you like nature, if you like home-made cooking, you’re in the right place”
- The nearest: the Beaujolais golf course at Lucenay
On the other side of the Saône, OK, but only 9kms from the campsite.
