Trévoux is a town in the Ain department, with a population of around 7,000, on the left bank of the Saône, in the arrondissement of Bourg-en-Bresse. It is less than an hour’s drive from several major towns in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region: Villefranche-sur-Saône (11 km), Lyon (30 km), Mâcon (50 km) and Bourg-en-Bresse (52 km).
The town has good motorway links. It is served by the A6 motorway, which links Lyon to Mâcon and Paris, and the A46, which provides quick access to Villeurbanne and Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport. There are two SNCF stations within 10 km of Trévoux, at Anse and Quincieux. Our Ain campsite is located in this town.
